How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Enhance the security of your Synapsecom account by enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). We utilize Time-Based Tokens via trusted applications like Google Authenticator and Duo. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Enabling 2FA

1. Access 2FA Settings:

   • Log in to your account.

   • Navigate to the dropdown on the top right corner.

   • Click on "Security Settings".

2. Activate 2FA:

   • Select the "Click here to Enable" button.

3. Authentication Method:

   • "Time Based Tokens" is the method used.

4. Connect Your App:

   • Use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Duo.

   • Scan the QR code displayed on the screen or manually enter the provided code into your app.

5. Verify Setup:

   • Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authentication app.

   • Click "Submit" to verify and complete the setup.
